Today was also visiting day for the families of the kids. Three of the mothers came and a few siblings and nephews. They all brought toys and soccer balls and played with the kids. Some of the boys here have sisters in a different home. These girls came to play with their brothers. It was really nice to see all the kids play together, but also sad that they don't see each other every day.
After all of this, we quickly got ready for church. Here they always have church service on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. After church we ate tomales and then came home for FIREWORKS and hot chocolate. It was a really busy and fun day!

Hoy una pareja de Missouri vino a visitar. Trajeron unos juegos de mesa y también han encontrado gente para apoyar a estos niños del hogar. Vinieron para almuerzo y para pasar la tarde con nosotros.
También, hoy era día de visitantes de las familias de los niños. Tres de las madres vinieron con unos hermanos y sobrinos. Trajeron juguetes y unas bolas de fútbol y jugaron con los niños. Algunos de los niños aquí tienen hermanas en otro hogar. Ellas vinieron para jugar con sus hermanos. Me gustó ver a los hermanos jugar juntos, pero también era triste que no se ven uno al otro todos los días.
Después de todo esto, nos preparamos rápidamente para ir a la iglesia. Aquí, siempre hay culto en noche buena y en el 31 de diciembre. Después del servicio, comimos tomales y regresamos a la casa para FUEGOS ARTIFICIALES y chocolate caliente (sin queso). Era un día llena y divertida!
